Information wanted on Brighthope radios, manufactured in Melbourne at the end of WW2. (Incorporated in December 1945) The company was a partnership between Ernest Brighthope (radio engineer) of Wright St. Bentleigh and William James Hehir of Waverley Rd, East Malvern. So far I have found two examples of this brand and I'm told that they may have been manufactured for trams or buses. The one in the photo runs off a dynomotor with an 18 Volt DC supply. The second unit was found in New Zealand.
